>>35190005They know their SM series will be forgotten. The dramatic shift in art style from XY to SM is vehemently despised by a large portion of the Pokemon anime community. With people calling the SM series a Chinese or Korean rip off and think the anime has gone down a rabbit hole.
Ash is the main protagonist of the franchise but not in SM. He's been pushed to a minor character. This series is Lillie and Co. with Ash being a special guest.
Lets not forgot that Ash is in Alola. Where they pride themselves on island trails instead of gyms. However, when was the last time we've seen Ash do an Island Trails? They've literally removed battling and even Ash training his Pokemon from SM for adventures with Lillie and friends.
I can't wait for this shitty series to be over and be forgotten so we can get back to Pokemon style that we're all used to seeing. I know the SMfags and Lilliefags will dislike this but I don't care. They're literally letting this Pokemon anime deteriorate before our eyes.
