the reality is, gen 5 fans were literally introduced to pokemon and so they've deluded themselves into thinking that the train wreck of a gen that was gen 5 is something special when long term fans and even just fans that came after gen 5 see it as the weakest entry into the series.
pic related is comments from 1 (ONE) video on youtube filled with seething gen 5 zoomers. i checked some of their channels and they're all hilariously ugly too, it was actually comical, i might go back and slap some of their faces onto this image just for maximum asshurt.
