>tqi think if bibi wasn't a trainer she'd be spending all that time either buckling down at a dojo or maybe even hitting the books to study medicine. she's got that whole thing about admiring physical strength because of growing up sick to explain the former, and while she's behind on her studies for the same reason, if she didn't have trainer activities to distract her, she might actually apply herself academics-wise in order to help the sick since she can sympathize with their pain. i think the oc who'd life would change the most without pokemon would probably be rina though, without minior she'd have absolutely no leads about her identity, which isn't to say her theories are *correct* but they end up leading her in the right direction
