>>32928407First off, the models should be simplified, there's no need for that many polys for the resolution you're displaying at with a 3ds.
Second, when dealing with high poly meshes, what most game devs do is create a high poly mesh, then auto generate a low poly mesh and use what's known as a normal map or bump map to effectively simulate a higher poly count.
Super basic explanation is that a instead of light reflecting off a polygon, it reflects off what the normal map says is the normal on that part of the polygon
If you're interested look it up, but pic related shows what it can do.
I don't know much about 3DS hardware but i have to imagine it can do bump mapping.
