Most people don't play Pokemon to pit them against other people's Pokemon in an optimal setting. If the thing has high stats, it is perfectly usable to the average shitter (see: majority of Pokemon fans) either in-game or in unranked, which is what most of anyone cares about. I completely understand the disappointment, I'm a bit upset myself that Calyrex turned out to be shit without his horses (even if there is a story reason for it), but it's utter delusion the think GF dropped the ball simply because some new Pokemon weren't game-busters in their format specifically. NOT because the DLC might be bad, NOT because sales might be low, but because Regieleki didn't get that grass coverage it desperately needed to carve out a niche in OU.
