So what the fuck were these two episodes? Did ANYONE like this shit? Most of the concepts I listed would have been interesting enough as their own episodes, but they decided to cram everything together so densely, with so much explaining and talking that it felt like nothing of value even happened. Seeing Raboot and Scorbunny again should have been exciting, and Ash's Pikachu turning into a Pichu should have been the best clickbait of all time, but not one idea had room to be FUN.
It feels bad that almost every time Dawn came back, it was a story about legendaries and dire situations. As a character she's a lot more fun in low stakes situations, but they really pigeonholed her into the same story three times.
