Currently there are lines that are born with few or no feathers, before we had to remove feathers by hand or otherwise the birds would die of heat, especially if they were acinated in small spaces. If your pet chicken has a large area, just make sure it has fresh water at its disposal and shady areas, the chicken will know where it will be the best place to rest.
