My naming scheme changed too much between generations because of how little I was able to get involved in gen 6 for real life reasons, so going to restrict myself to names to either current gen or AS since I caught up on that, expect a lot of SMTfaggotry/mythfagging (no, I don't have a shiny lycanrock day that I named Pascal, sadly)
Nihilego - Chiaki (can't go into full detail for plot related reasons, but anyone that has played Nocturne should easily recognize why I chose this for nihilego the world only needs beautiful things
Froslass - Yuki Jyorou (SMT demon based off a Yuki Onna)
Scizor - Tie-Tanglang (chinese that translates to literally "Iron Mantis", english verson doesn't let me put phonemes)
Mega Lucario - Gozu-Tennoh (dex entry for mega reminded me of Nocturne's depiction of the actual deity)
Glaceon - Qerach (hebrew word for ice or frost)
Lurantis - Amazon (Kamen Rider of the same name)

Celesteela - Kaguya-hime (this one is self explanatory)
Lunala - Nyx (Night queen of Greek mythology, fits with the overall theme of lunala and lunala is canonically female)
Top Kok - Urthona (Probably needs the most explanation out of all of my name choices, the revealed Z-Move for the guardians instantly reminded of Albion from SMT and William Blake's mythology, plan on following the same pattern for the rest of the island guardians)
Latias trapped in gen 6 - Lakshmi (went on smt wiki and picked something from the Aeon arcana that best fit her)
