Malva stops in the middle of both her explanation and her pace, turning to you with a shocked expression. Now that you've gotten a better look at her, something about her appearance does scream vibes of familiarity.
>'Wait a minute...SHE'S THE HOT FUCK FROM THE HOLO CASTER NEWS CHANNEL! Crap, I know she said she was on there but I didn't know she was THAT woman! Fuck, I should use that thing more often...'"What? You had an encounter with them, Zepeli you say? And Team Flare?"
Serena finishes the summary for you, "Yes. Flare ambushed us, but before they could inflict any major harm onto the townspeople, the superhumans you speak of swept in and caused the grunts to retreat. I...accidentally powered one up with a misguided Fire attack."
Malva's surprise soon fades, and is replaced with her typical animosity, "Mm. I should have expected no less from you, Serena. Regardless of your mishaps, you've intrigued me in a way that completely botches all plans I've had for you and dear Calem here..."
"Huh? Whatever do you mean?"
Malva approaches a door at the far end of the bustling floor of cubicles, an exclusive VIP room with a door as black as charcoal, locked up with two keyholes to its left and its right. Malva snaps her fingers at Torkoal, to which he responds by sprouting out two keys from his shell.
Malva takes one, and her Torkoal grabs the other. With the keys in hand, they approach the door and at the precise moment, both insert their keys at the same time.
The door unlocks, leading into a deeper room with a staircase.
