Granted, most of the things that come my mind are from Gen VI, but even some of the things on your list would've looked totally out of place in RBGY. Reuniclus, Sigilyph, Archeops, and Cofagrigus would've looked like shit had they debuted alongside Charizard and Pikachu.
And we've seen what Gen I Tirtouga looked like, Gen I Carracosta would've probably been 100% trash.
