Most people who claim to be bleeding heart libeals that care about all lives everywhere will just as quickly abandon their "principles" the moment it inconveniences them. Thats because humans are inherently selfish creatures and thats a fucking good thing. If humans didn't have certain degree of selfishness we would have died out, but on the other hand humans can be selfless at times which is also a reason why we survived.
But don't delude yourself into thinking that there is ANY system of power communism or anything else that is your friend and is completely looking out for your interests. And guess what there will always be a power system. Always.
