>>47237343I had the thought that, if this leak is real, then the starter that you choose might effect where you can explore and when. I seriously doubt these games will have HMs, but they could make it that they each have some sort of action they can perform that is fairly rare to find in Sinnoh.
>Samurott can carry you across bodies of water, most other water types are either too small or too big (Lumineon and Floatzel are too small to carry you, Gyarados is too big to fit in a lot of the rivers we've seen, Mantine or Empoleon are the right size)>Decidueye can fly you up cliffs or glide you across gaps, the only other 'flying' Pokemon that could carry you are Honchcrow, Drifblim and Staraptor>Typhlosion can provide heat in cold places, the only other fire types are Infernape, Rapidash and Magmar (Heatran too, but idk if it'll even be in Legends)Of course, this is assuming that the game is even more similar to BotW than it already is. I wouldn't mind though, it would make your starter decision have a bit more impact considering there won't be any gyms in the game, and could provide actual replay value beyond just trying out alternate team compositions.
