Amidst all of the rage and chaos, I'd like to remind you that even if you plan on purchasing the game, you can still participate in making an impact if you are unhappy with GF's recent decisions.
Most journalism sites will report on these two things: a sudden drop in pre-order numbers, and/or SwSh's sales around the end of the first week of release.
People are more upset at GF than ever, with over 60+ million tweets across various languages about the situation. Cancel your pre-order if you have one and (if you intend to purchase the games still) wait approx. 1-2 weeks before purchasing the game.
GF has slipped up harder than ever and the ensuing firestorm is the perfect opportunity to encourage change. Even the usually onions-pilled Pokemon subreddit that could never speak bad about the games is brandishing pitchforks.
Yeah, it's an imaginary animal video game. But we all care enough about it to be here discussing it.
