She prefers the heavy, hearty and super savory stuff-- especially low and slow barbecue. The three she's not a fan of are bland and flavorless to her and she can't stand it. She's the kind of girl who makes her own seasoning blends for meats out of 20 different seperate seasonings and putting the combined mix into a shaker to put onto meats and just putting a dozen things into sauces too. Barbecue, pizza, pasta, quick grilled meats (burgers, chicken, steaks, etc.), tacos and so on. She's a very Unovan (American) girl and she has slowly converted Mari and her Grandpa that both the girls call their Gramps into preferring her idea of good food over their usual Kantonian fare. The times Mari and Emily are both in Kanto, visiting Gramps, the first thing both Gramps and Mari do is ask Emily to make some of her favorite food for them.
