>>47794676The match with Skyla is easy: Gold Experience does its usual set up to support a fellow teammate. The teammate of choice here is Anansi the Galvantula, who one shots all of Skyla's mons. After leaving Mistralton, I have my first death of the run in the rival battle with Cheren. Strangelove the Swobat ended up dying when it should have killed Liepard, but it turns out that the two Pokemon speed tied. Truly an unfortunate coincidence.
Sittard was able to defeat Brycen's team, though it did require some Intimidate assists from Auld Yeller and some status assists from Gold Experience when Brycen sent out his own Beartic. I use the Gold and Sittard combo again in the battle with Drayden, which earns me my final gym badge.
When it came to slaying the legendary dogs, I used a similar strategy for each. I would send out Auld Yeller for the Intimidate stat drop and then I'd send out a second Pokemon for the sweep. For Cobalion and Terrakion, I used Quadrophenia, and for Virizion, I used Anansi.
