It already has a god-tier ability and all the moves it needs, it's stats are all that's holding it back. It needs buffs to almost all of them, but "just buff all it's stats lol" is a boring answer. So I'll say that since it's physical stats are already somewhat remedied by Intimidate and Coil and it never uses it's SpA, it's most in need of better special bulk and especially Speed.

Secondary Dark or Ground typing would also help a lot, though whether that's justified thematically is debatable.

Arbok is literally in my top 6 you colossal faggot, I use it in almost every playthrough I get the chance, including the Red playthrough I'm doing right now. Ariados is one of my favorites too, by the way.

King Cobras are 10-13 feet on average, and if we assume that the 11 feet listed in Arbok's Pokedex entry is also an average, then they're basically exactly the same. Arbok is MUCH heavier though.
The real question is, would an Alpha Arbok be as long as the longest recorded King Cobra (18 feet)?
