The earliest I remember PokeRadar in Platinum, I specifically remember doing it for Magnemites actually. I remember getting a 40+ chain and getting several shiny Magnemites from it. Good times.
>Least favorite shiny of your favorite type?
Standard Gengar. The G-Max and Mega fix it but fuck any shiny that is barely visibly different.
