LA was originally scheduled for a holiday release in 2021, but was moved to January 2022 and dubbed an "experimental title" to make space for BDSP which was outsourced to a cheap Chinese dev so they could rush out a traditional faithful remake to appeal to nostalgiafags. Tsunekazu Ishihara is behind all this, as he is vehemently against any kind of change. Unfortunately for him and the rest of the hacks at TPCi, they were proven wrong with the overwhelming praise for LA and negative reception to BDSP. Tsunekazu Ishihara needs to be killed (in Minecraft) in order for Pokémon to become good again.
