I posted my Emerald Nuzlocke team a few threads ago and it was advised that I grind it out a bit more. Whoever told me that, thank you, because you probably saved my life. The jump in level from the E4 to Wallace was incredibly scary and I lost a good pokemon (Magneton), but I'm happy to say our team made it out alive.
Notable brickshiting moments include Phoebe getting back to back crits and almost dropping my Magneton early, my Gardevoir getting para'd by Walrein and almost wrecked by Body Slam, and Flygon outspeeding my Milotic and nearly killing it.
Thank God for Calm Mind, because Calm Mind + Thunderbolt wrecked Glacia and Wallace once I had gotten a couple off. This game was fantastic with some fun opponents but holy cow, this felt like a way more brutal endgame than Leaf Green.
