>>15299333>>15299305>>15299370Not him but don't defend this shit. It's obvious that he is new to competitive, but it does not change the facts.
Why does a single use item not disappear when playing against real people? against hard opponents? Where it actually has a worth? where it can actually turn the tides?
Why DOES it disappear in singleplayer when there is absolutely nothing even remotely challenging? Why does the item description not say "does not disappear in online matches"? Are we supposed to ASSUME a seemingly so broken item that only has one use will magically not banish when we play against real opponents?
How does this even make sense, not only logically, but from a programming point of view?
Like I mean, I get it, fuck it's annoying that it disappears but why would it disappear in shitty singleplayer then? That would be even more pointless and annoying, at least losing it online has a purpose because it can give you a victory, but no point in singleplayer when you can just spam revives, so it's a complete fucking waste.
This does not make sense no matter how you look at it, and he's right. Gamefreak is a shit developer that lucked out with pokemon.
>there will never be a pokemon game made by superior western devsEvery Esports ever you see people give even remotely of a fuck about? Western, and there IS a reason for that, gents.
