It seems GF really isnt able to do any cross-regional story. Everytime someone old appears (Cynthia in Unova, Steven in Johto, some characters in Alola) they're all just cameos. Thats so lame
And when they finally bring someone for he story (Anabel the whole thing is just ridiculous (because what can we do about Anabel beig from another universe? We cant visit it or help her)
I wish they' do some proper connections
Like for example Colress working with Aether
Red and Blue helping establishing league in Alola
Or like in the gif two champions fighing together to save the region
