I want to try Rayman.>>22810346Odysseus would want nothing more right now than to pound some straight-up sense into the King with as many punches as he can dish out, but that seems to be impossible with Counter-Counter in place.
Any move that makes contact will be countered back for double the damage, all the time, every time. It makes this match one of the more harder ones, and definitely shaves down on the amount of options that Odysseus has.

Odie actually forces himself to resist punching that thing's stupid face on the spot. It's just, everything about it looks like a fucking disaster to him, the fact that it's just a Slowbro stuffed in its own shell is a good place to start criticizing.

The hedgehog steps back a bit to keep some distance between them, and to keep any punches from being 'accidentally' thrown. All the while, the King stares at him with its beady eyes and blank smile.

Like the Pokemon it's imitating, its speech has slowed to a sluggish drawl. It's no BANEstiodon, that's for sure.

Acting on impulse again, Chesnaught drags his claw across the ground and forges a ball of accumulating gunk and grime into Sludge Bomb. Wasting no time, he swiftly slings it at the King, while also creating a second bomb with his other claw. It too, is slung with great power.
"NAAAAUUUUUUUGH!"
The first one hits the King square in the face, and almost manages to tip it over, but the second..
"Psychic!"
