Only the X/Y speculation period & animu discussions carried the torch even if the games were beginning to show signs of want/decay, though most figured Z would fix things when it never came.
Before then (pre-D/P era) things were primitive but sorta cozy. The future just gets bleak, and the shills are going to be the end of us all.
