While him and Carmine are certainly friends of the Paldea crew, they go to a different school in a different region, so they're a bit disconnected. I prefer to focus on the core 4 (and Ogerpon, she's a permanent member of Florian's team), as they're closer to him, and they have a more developed group dynamic. Plus, if you add two more characters, it kind of bloats the whole thing.
