For me its a war story againts aliens or some fantasy world trying to conquer the Pokémon world, I like journeys fics as much as anyone else but almost 90% of fics are about that but edgy or with a harem.
Ancient weapons blessed by legendaries to have their power, power suits able to use infinite energy if you aren't one of the faggots with real powers in the world and so on.
