>>38607522(okay, i'll try to write a little more. this one is hopefully going to be much shorter because i'm lazy as hell. i'm glad you like what i've come up with so far though, personally i don't think it's any good and im pretty embarrassed by it but it's nice to have that reassurance, y'know? so thanks.)
Excadrill and i go pretty far back -- we've known eachother since he was a Drilbur and myself an Eevee; his father, a Sandslash, who was also an archaeologist prior to his passing, was actually the one who gave me a Water Stone as a gift. to this day, i'm not sure where he found it. elemental stones seem to be pretty rare around these parts.
one of my favorite shops in this village i've been rambling on about isn't really a traditional shop; it's more like a food court, except it's very small and sort of rustic, and i think that may be why i enjoy eating there so much: it just feels like home. anyway, the food is prepared and eaten outside, and most of the menu is made up of meat-based dishes, but i don't have any issues with that. it's run by a Garchomp and his wife, an Altaria. there aren't really any Pokémon working there besides she and he, so they don't serve many customers per day, but they work in a very efficient manner with their Fire-type moves and all. thank Arceus for the fact that Flamethrower is part of both of their skill sets, yeah? (i guess it makes sense, though.)
most Pokémon who stop by seem to be intimidated by Garchomp's size and looks, but once you get to know him, he's actually a very nice and "down-to-earth" Pokémon. i'm not very well acquainted with his wife, but i'd like to get to know her someday. i've heard she's a very talented singer... perhaps she should start working in music on the side!
>>38608064i'm sure i'll find something you'd like to keep during my travels. and feel free to stop by anytime, i'd be happy to teach your children how to surf! admittedly i'm not much of a teacher, but i'm sure it'll be good fun.
