Continuing with a little more information for BDSP. To some of these, I have added my own thoughts and theories based on what I know.
>National Dex does not return but they will market the games like it does just because it has the "national dex" from the original games with gen 1-4 Pokemon.
>Pokemon introduced in Gen 8 are also transferable but won't have Pokedex entries like transferred Pokemon in Gen 7. Only Galarian Forms can be transferred.
>HMs will return but they will work differently. The moves can still but taught and function outside of battle like in the originals for players who want the original experience but this is no longer the only way to use them. The functions of the HMs will also be tied to the Poketch and function in a manner similar to the Ride Pager from Gen 7 but with much more simplistic animations like the original Gen 4 games
>EXP Share still cannot be toggled.
>Sycamore is in the games and can be found in Rowan's lab. He is not a professor when the game starts but I think that he will become one in the post game like Sonia did in Sword and Shield.
>Looker will play a greater role in the happenings with Team Galactic.
>Rotom machinery like the phone, dex, and bike do not return.
