but I've been down into that black abyss of despair before, and I'm not prepared to have to crawl my way back out of it a second time. We just have no frame of reference for what's going on, really. It's the uncertainty that wears you down. It's the little things keeping me sane- AC, my friends, and everyone here. I'm sure somehow everything will be okay, just... Eventually.
And holy shit, I'd never heard of villagers flat-out stealing your things! I can understand accidentally losing a possession during the flea market in WW if you weren't careful, but never outright theft! Agreed that that crosses a line- I guess that's why they removed it. This game is basically a patience trainer- you wait around for items to spawn, and try again the next day if they don't.
I've been given a ladder by a friend and now I've been able to fully explore my town, I'm sorely tempted to relocate my house onto one of the higher levels. I've gained access to my private beach, and I kind of want to live up near it!
