Dogasu translated and scanned this old book about the Orange Islands production a while back. One of the things in it is a "here's what production on the anime looks like" series. I found this image of a writer's meeting and I'm trying to decipher who's in it. Most of the people are obvious. Starting from the far left, going clockwise:

>Choji Yoshikawa

>Tomioka

The dude next to Tomioka is the most interesting because he looks young as fuck. Tomioka's the youngest of the people I can recognize and he would've been in his early 30s at that point. Maybe he's an animator or an intern. If there's any place with a power level high enough to have a clue, it'd be here.
