I am officially convinced that remote raids have completely ruined the point of having raid battles. People don't even consider type matchups anymore when it comes to what to use. Without pressure to force people to actually try, people seem to just run into raids by tapping the funny symbol at the bottom of the without understanding what it is besides a big attack.
