>How do you pick which pokemon to raise?For main games I always trade in the same team from the last gen: Gengar, Roserade, Lucario, Scizor, Weavile, Staraptor. In Gen 3 I had Roselia, Hitmonchan, Sneasel, and Pidgeot. For secondary games, I just catch the Pokemon and raise them.
>Misc play style questions?I've kept the same nicknames on my team since Gen 4. I don't really focus on competitive or self imposed challenges.
I tend to not reset my games, cherishing the saves. The only time I've ever reset a game was my 7 year old Platinum save, so I could do a legitimate run without my teenage action replay antics clogging up everything.
