I Have X preordered at Gamestop. They're not doing a midnight launch so i'm going to Wal-Mart to get Y.
I'll play Y, soft reset until I get a female chespin and play for at least a few hours before bed, but I at least want to get to the breeding center (or far enough to be able to trade). I'll breed my chespin and make an egg with it. Then the following day I'll pick up my X version from Gamestop, pick froakie as my starter (female of course) then trade the chespin egg to X then delete my save file in Y and restart it but choose fenniken
This way i'll have all three starters. I was thinking of doing a shiny quest where I'd get at least one shiny before each gym, but that would take too long so i'll just play the game with no repels and not enter the E4 until I get at least 1 shiny per game.
