You are now aware that the Celadon Game Corner (called Rocket Game Corner under Team Rocket's leadership and sporting the slogan "The playground for grownups!") is kill in Blaze Red and Vine Green, the second remake of Red and Green set to be released on February 27, 2016 for the 3DS.
This is going to impact the main Kanto plot for sure.
BACKGROUND:
Gambling in Pokémon started to be censored when Gamblers were renamed to Gamers in English FireRed and LeafGreen. Some references to gambling were also removed, causing one of the Gamblers to now say "I'm a rambling, gaming dude!" instead. In English Diamond and Pearl, Gamblers were renamed again to PIs (Private Investigators) but their dialogue wasn't changed. In Japan and South Korea, they're consistently called Gamblers (Japanese: ギャンブラー, Korean: 갬블러).
Between the release of Diamond/Pearl and Platinum, the European rating organization PEGI changed their classification rules. Games containing any gambling content now risk being classified as "18". This caused all European releases of Platinum to replace the slot machines and their minigames with Game Machines that only pop out 5 to 20 Coins a day.
In the Korean and Western releases of HeartGold and SoulSilver, the Goldenrod and Celadon Game Corners were completely redesigned. The old rooms from the Japanese version were replaced with small rooms for a new minigame called Voltorb Flip. Coins cannot be bought anymore either; you can only earn them by playing Voltorb Flip.
All core games starting in Black and White have ceased the inclusion of Game Corners altogether. The Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire remake of Ruby and Sapphire instead features a closed down Game Corner as a reference to the censorship.
