I love the idea of everyone's Pokemon being slightly different. Of course your non-minmaxed Charizard named Flamey is gonna look different to a pure pedigree 6 31IV good nature comp Charizard, and from some other guy's Charizard with no nickname. It appeals to me on a personal level.
