The poison type seems a little underwhelming, don't you think? I mean, it only beats two types, fairy and grass. I know you're all going to say its meant as a defensive type, resisting things like fighting and fairy is very useful, but when accounting for the fact its other resistances are very dumb (bug, grass, and itself) and that even some offensive types rival it defensively, with the powerfull fire type having more resistances (whats up with frail fire being the second type with the most resistances?!), it just seems underpowered. It seems its only good aspect comes from beating the imposing fairies and only having two weaknesses, but it still seems just underpowered in general, hell, there's only two poison mons in OU, one of them is a ghost and the other is a mega.
