Misty down, did the usual "save the gym for later" to be able to grind against the trainers around Vermillion, and after learning Thunderbolt Gooped was able to make easy work of the two starfish. Decided to bench Squirtle for the time being, and for the foreseeable future, thinking that I might save Bulbasaur AND Charmander for X/Y where they have access to their megas (and if I end up losing them there, picking them up in Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon)
