i don't know why i said i set it to 'maximum', i think it only increases it by 9 points as i was a bit afraid of breaking the first demetrius cutscene, but i don't think it matters, you can increase this variable as much as you want and the plot progression ends when the 'Demetrius Commish' is at 10, with the store finishing when it hits 15, so just keep talking to this guy and you can move on
