I could look past the flaws of SwSh. But SV was just too much. And instead of redeeming themselves, it looks like they're just going down the same path.
Look at the buildings in Z-A. The buildings are just flat boxes with a .jpg slapped on them. The windows have no reflection, no depth, nothing.
This sounds like a non-issue, but it's very worrying. Even SwSh had decent buildings with actual windows, and that was 6 years ago.
I think Game Freak simply can't make 3d games and instead of optimizing the game, they're just removing everything that might create lag.
