Greninja with Battle Bond is unique (can't breed, can only have that ability, is the only mon with that ability) even without transforming and currently doesn't even transform and is still its own thing despite looking like a normal Greninja.
Oh and I forgot partner Pikachu and Eevee that look the same but have unique stats and moves. Actually partner Eevee's female form was unique until gen 8, too.
