>>58289224Really digging this guy. I think Brant is an excellent name for a fire gym leader and I love how all his Pokemon have a role to play. The blue vest is also a really cool call back to the blue apron gen 3 kindlers would wear.
I will say however, as Tropius's number-one defender here, I have to refute your suggestion for its replacement. It doesn't just provide the team with some jungle representation, but also serves as a perch for all of Rhea's birds. The fruits upon its neck gives a nod to Carmen Miranda and her fruit headpieces. Given Rhea's inspo coming from Brazilian Carnival, I think Tropius deserves to stay.
