>>55705163In GF's defense, this is because in some regions they'll literally get the game classified as adults-only if it includes gambling in it. So they an either take it out of the game in certain regions (meaning there are now different versions of the game in different parts of the world, some of which are missing features, etc) or they just take it out everywhere and/or replace it something something else everywhere. This is how we got Voltorb Flip in HG/SS, for example.
Not trying to defend the other pants-on-head things that GF randomly does, but this particular one is... honestly fine, and done for a sensible reason.
