And use Fly he does. Noivern soars up and takes to the skies, saved from getting washed in Sludge Wave thanks to Tailwind's boost. Dragalge shoots out her poisonous, unsanitary tidal wave, but it misses Noivern completely, instead washing out the floor with searing acid.
The floor your standing on. Cue the boyish anguish of acid burning through your soles.
"IT BUUUURRRRNNNS!"
Another turn of missed attacks passes before Noivern dives back down to complete the second phase of Fly. Dragalge braces for impact, and being the tank she is, she's able to withstand being slammed into.
"VERRRRRRNNNN!"
Noivern slams into the sea-dragon, but that's all he's able to do since her counter-attack comes right afterward. See, now that Noivern's close enough, she can do /this/.
"Play Rough, dearie! Oh, but don't /actually/ play rough, we're inside remember--you might break something!"
"Drraaaaaaaaa!"
