I'm sorry to be so pessimistic but to be completely honest, I fucking hate Pokemon Day. I don't think it's worth celebrating anymore. I'm just gonna see more blatantly half-baked 60 dollar games, overpriced DLC and products trying to remind me that there was a time when anybody actually gave a damn. How is a world superpower tier entity so money-starved?
It's also a reminder that thousands if not millions of mentally stunted people will not only make up defense mechanisms in order to willfully ignore how bad things get, but go out of their way to make mortal enemies out of random bozos online who don't do the same because they genuinely think Pokemon has people's best interests in mind and is thus incapable of sin
