the Snivy is a self-insert to a degree to be sure. Its fun to explore some aspects of your personality in writing like that, even if there is a good deal more to who you are. Besides it can be used to explore certain subjects without getting too weird imo, as its not just a direct self-insert I suppose so much so as basing a character on part of who you are, if that makes sense. The Axew is not a self-insert though. I just kind of wanted to run a bit with how I perceived the partner-mon from GTI to be after having so recently completed it, and maybe expand a bit upon some of my favorite parts if I'm honest. After all, the story doesn't have to end if you just make your own, h-haha...Damn though we really need another PMD game, or SOMETHING.
