This is actually be the first nuzlocke I've ever done. I did a psychic type run of ruby before but it wasn't a nuzlocke. Limiting yourself to a type that's hard to find mons for can be fun though. I'll also try to do no items in battle (until opposing trainer uses them first) and limited pokecenter/healing trainer visits.
Got lucky that the first encounter on route 2 was a purrloin. Trained her up a bit and just barely won that gym badge. Caught another purrloin in the dreamyard, boxed it for later.
