III Jp don't expect to actually have fun and get more than 4 shinies you care about. Three tiny ass corner parks, the one with the best ice biome had 8 (count em) stops. The shitty shiny rate for this year's gofests worked at dortmund since the park was so dense in spawns and very large. Here you're basically doing a 5 minute loop just to get 3 vulpix and seels to respawn. Didn't help that locals kept throwing down glacial lures. Basically it was a less exciting, hyper exclusive poliwag community day where they forgot to turn up the shiny rate.
Theming was just a few inflatable pool toys. The event was just run on top of the infrastructure of the park. No portapotties just public toilets. No additional waste disposal just litter and recycle bins that were gigantic piles of plastic water bottles by 3pm. No water refill stations except a faucet in a block of cement (worked perfectly well though.)

Japan grinds the hell out of this game and you're telling me none of the gatcha coins they dump in could go to giving Japan go fest a reasonable budget?
Only redeeming factor was that the Jp locals go absolutely bonkers over regionals they can't get and will trade anything for them. The best shit I got out of this event came from trades with locals. Motte and iranai gets you pretty far.
Holy fuck it's humid and hot, Hanke deserves a voodoo curse for scheduling this in August in Japan.
