This adorable girl. Got sword a couple days ago, found out you could access Armor before actually visiting the budew inn near the start and got distracted roaming. Found the forest, saw the Pikachu, and moved in.
Was it probably a waste of effort since it would have been easier in post game with having more money and tools for better odds and less issues? Maybe, but I don't regret it at all.
My second actual shiny and my first actually hunted. This kid is special to me for life.
