Decided to revisit an gym idea from last month
>At first glance the gym appears to be a simple cave but the first opening area has a series of caverns crawling with researchers. The "challenge" is simple, you must pay close attention to which scientist are actually doing their job and which ones are complaining(Complaints range from the state of the gym and the temperature to how they just outright dislike being forced to be gym trainers). The ones complaining will give you not so subtle hints that point you in the direction of the cavern you should go down. As you progress deeper into the caves temperature will steadily drop, the walls turning to ice until you find the gym leader in a room ice surrounded by ice furniture and 2 sculptures.
>You'll learn he's a living relic from the past that was defrosted. Due to his knowledge he would've been taken in but his battle prowls made it rather difficult. So instead a deal was struck, if he was supplied with food and left alone with his family(the 2 ice sculptures) he would in turn answer any questions the researchers had about the past and become a gym leader.
>Final team reflects his choice to move forward with the family(his descendants) he has now.
