>>24663045I was being sarcastic. But yeah, if thay's your thing. I will admit some of them have better art because of it, but the lack of restraint is part of the reason I dislike it (I don't hate digimon completely though, and did rather enjoy it as a kid).
But it's the little things, like not having a set number of digimon (since they're digital, there's infinite sorts and kinds). They could literally plop shit down and say "it's a digimon" where new pokemon at least are constrained by dex number and are omly released on cycles.

Pokemom designs are usually simpler but not too simple. But then they literally made ice cream and garbage pokemon so now this whole argument is less relevant. Both can be good and both can literally be shit/trash
