Where the color itself is a simple mauve, it almost seems to step back and let its silhouette take the center stage. The three-point crest sitting atop its head obviously being the centerpiece, but the wings themselves are also worthy of praise. Compare the elegant curves and segmentation to a more simple, yet colorful pokemon like butterfree. Venomoth is perhaps one of the most excellent pokemon designs in the series and a great example as to why moths, only a small subset of bug pokemon, are a subject of such praise among bugchads.
